Sweet & Meaningful Backyard Wedding in Gig Harbor

So much to say about J + R.

The simplest way of putting it is, we felt like instant friends. Their trust and belief in me really allowed me to roll with it all and create alongside them both at their engagement session and during their wedding day.

This wedding day was relaxed. Mellow. Fun. And meaningful.

J got ready at a neighbors house with her closest friends. R got ready upstairs at the ceremony location with his friends.

They met on a private beach and shared their vows alone; one on one. This was a beautiful moment where you could see them completely sink in and realize how special it all was. Their giddiness and affection for one another was so apparent throughout. It honestly made for some of the easiest wedding captures I’ve ever had the privilege of grasping.

There were so many golden moments during this day. I could go on forever.

I’ll leave it here - I’ve never been to a better dance party. They closed out the night in a way I’ll never forget. EVERYONE was dancing. Moms. Dads. Aunts. Uncles. Unforgettable to say the least.
