Dreamiest Oceanside Wedding at Larrabee State Park

In 2021 I shot one of the dreamiest microweddings of my career. The bride reached out mentioning that her and her fiancé had been through a lot the last few years and wanted a sacred space to celebrate their love with just their family.

They chose Larrabee State Park because of significant personal experience and memories tied to the location. Even though Larrabee isn’t the perfect spot for even lighting, it made for the most beautiful midday direct-sun photos I’ve ever taken.

C got ready at her airbnb with her mom while K hung out with his family at their airbnb. They had a brief first look in the garden followed by a short ceremony on the rocks at the edge of the water.

After some family photos we headed to Rock n’ Rye; my FAVORITE place to eat in all of Bellingham. The staff there took such good care of us for this intimate reception. Dinner lasted multiple hours - everyone was talking and enjoying everything, no rush or quick bites here.

It was mesmorizing.
