Golden Summer Session in Birch Bay Washington

What’s better than a summer family session at golden hour by the water?

I used to only shoot at golden hour, but these days I expand and honestly find a lot of fun in all lighting situations. That said, I never mind hanging with that dreamy golden light.

I met the K family at Birch Bay State Park in Blaine Washington (birch bay to be technical) for a low key and fun session.

This family is full of so much strength, joy, and literal fun. THEY ARE SO FUN. I never tire of capturing a family’s core - their most authentic selves. It is life giving and soul upflifting.

I love how this family made room for their kids to be their funny and adventrous selves. They encouraged cute coon hats and fun fairy feels. YES PLZ.
